Our goal is to make selling simple, helping sellers maximize value through our marketplace. A key part of this vision is GlobalSKU, a core tool within Vendidit, designed to enable sellers to create and optimize product listings. GlobalSKU helps sellers enhance their product data and optimize their listings for distribution across multiple platforms, though its primary purpose is to bring sellers into the Vendidit ecosystem.

We’re growing quickly but sustainably, focused on building a small team of exceptional people to help us develop innovative tools like GlobalSKU. As Vendidit expands, GlobalSKU will continue to play a crucial role in attracting sellers and helping them succeed on our platform.

What you’ll be doing

As a Product Engineer on the GlobalSKU team, you’ll help shape the future of this essential tool within Vendidit. Your work will make a direct impact on how sellers manage their product listings and ultimately succeed on the Vendidit marketplace.

  • Develop and scale features for the GlobalSKU platform, allowing sellers to efficiently create and optimize product listings.
  • Own the entire development process, from ideation to implementation and release.
  • Collaborate with the data science team to integrate AI-driven enhancements into product listings.
  • Work closely with Vendidit’s broader engineering team to ensure seamless integration of GlobalSKU with the marketplace.
  • Engage with sellers to understand their needs and ensure GlobalSKU continues to deliver real value.

  • Innovation: We’re constantly improving, solving complex problems related to how sellers create and manage listings across multiple channels.

You should apply if...

  • You’ve built a product from scratch and have experience launching impactful solutions.
  • You’re excited by fast-paced environments and building products with high user impact.
  • You’re not afraid to learn new technologies, whether it’s a new programming language, framework, or tool. You're comfortable adapting to and mastering new technical challenges.
  • You’re eager to work with a talented team in-person at our office in Austin, Texas.

Nice to have

  • Proficiency with Cloudflare Workers, Pages, and Durable Objects.
  • Experience with AWS CDK and core AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and EC2.
  • Strong skills in Python, particularly with the SciPy stack (e.g., Numpy, Pandas).
  • Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook and related data science or machine learning libraries.
  • Expertise in TypeScriptNext.js, and React.js for front-end development.
  • A solid grasp of browser libraries and vanilla JavaScript—with an appreciation for low-level web mechanics.
  • Hands-on experience in mobile app development, particularly with React Native, as well as tools like Expo and TestFlight.
  • Background in ETL pipelines and working with vector databases.
  • Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or Jenkins.
  • Previous experience developing bulk editing software.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary: We offer a salary that matches your experience and contribution, ensuring you are fairly compensated for your impact.

Interview process

We keep our interview process efficient and transparent. Here’s what to expect:

  1. Application Review: We’ll review your resume and see how your skills align with our needs.
  2. Culture Interview: A 30-minute conversation to explore your motivations and fit with our team.
  3. Technical Interview: You’ll meet with the team to discuss the skills needed for the role—no live coding.

  5. Offer: If we’re aligned, we’ll make an offer and welcome you to the team!

If you’re excited about the role but don’t meet every single criterion, we encourage you to apply anyway—our values are just as important as your experience!
