About the role
- This role is the first hire for the Procurement Team at Super.com which will be managing over $20 million of total contract value.
- This role will have the meaningful opportunity to shape and mold the way procurement takes place at Super.com through implementing process improvements, choosing systems, and managing key internal and external relationships.
- This role provides an opportunity to work cross-functionally with leaders across the organization as they make important purchasing decisions that impact our product and operations overall.
What you’ll be working on:
- Your responsibilities will center around providing procurement services to the business in a fast, reliable, and empathetic manner.
- On a day-to-day basis you will ensure procurement process adherence - ensuring that requests are actioned in a timely manner, employees are following procurement processes properly, the process is up-to-date and effective, and that workflows are correct.
- You will be responsible for improving the effectiveness of the procurement function by soliciting feedback from internal stakeholders, identifying areas for improvement, and running projects to implement improvements (example projects include evaluating and choosing a procurement platform, creating a negotiation playbook, and increasing accountability for internal stakeholders).
- You will manage internal and external relationships to ensure results - building trust with internal stakeholders, negotiating skillfully with vendors, and communicating the results of the procurement program to department leadership.
- You will be responsible for internal understanding of the procurement processes through running regular training sessions, being the go-to person for any procurement questions, and communicating any changes to the process in a timely manner.
Who we’re looking for:
- 2+ years of experience in procurement, or GTM software roles.
- 1+ years of experience collaborating with legal, engineering security, and finance teams.
- Passion for procurement, project management, and relationship management (cross-functional and external).
- Experience with financial modelling in Google Sheets/Excel.
Bonus points for:
- Experience with Ramp (spend management software).
- Previous experience negotiating with external vendors.
