The Private Capital Project Specialist will support AFWERX operations, manage projects, conduct market research, and assist with technical writing and content creation.

About this Role / Program:
- Rackner is seeking a Private Capital Project Specialist to join our team to support the AFWERX Technical Operations Branch.
- AFWERX is the innovation arm of the Department of the Air Force (DAF) and accelerates agile and affordable capability transitions by teaming innovative technology developers with Airman and Guardian talent.
- AFWERX supports both internal and external (federal and industry partners) users across multiple CONUS locations through client hardware support (NIPR, DREN) and cloud-based (e.g. IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) applications.
- Additionally, the AFWERX Technical Operations Branch provides Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cybersecurity support to the different AFWERX divisions (i.e. AFVentures, Spark, Prime), including Flight Test Program Management (FTPM) support to both manned and unmanned flight tests.
- The ideal candidate will have the knowledge and ability to perform tasks related to the technical/professional discipline they are performing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 6+ years; Project management experience
- Possess strong project management skills and experience, and experience with conducting quantitative analysis in support of strategy development and operational performance
- DAWIA certification or equivalent desired

- Conduct market research and engages with private investors to support project curation and execution (as needed).
- Operational and network mapping to understanding and design program activities.
- Assists on contracting activities and documents in support of the directors and program/project managers.
- Types of Content Creation Support.
- Technical writing.
- Drafting, creating and editing presentations, reports, summaries and minutes of meetings, white papers.
- Branding and storytelling materials
