Job Duties and Responsibilities
As a Principal Custom Solutions Engineer in our Custom Solutions and Delivery organization, you will spearhead the strategic direction of operational activities for 5G Enterprise Solutions. You will take charge of overseeing critical systems, actively identify and implement improvement opportunities, and empower support teams with your expert technical guidance. You'll be the technical leader driving operational performance to the highest standard.
You'll step into the role of end-to-end operational expert, injecting vital operational input into the solution roadmap and actively supporting lifecycle management and lab testing
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical expertise on complex operational issues, troubleshoot critical system failures, and lead root cause analysis efforts
- Work closely with other departments to identify and resolve operational challenges and align with broader business objectives
- Analyze operational data to identify performance bottlenecks, implement process improvements, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Drive 5G Solutions lifecycle and lab testing
- Lead internal and customer discussions during operational reviews and governance
Skills, Experience and Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Minimum 12 years of hands-on experience in supporting wireless 4G/5G networks
Skills and Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in 4G/5G operations
- Solid knowledge of ORAN and 3GPP standards
- Working understanding of cloud platforms and infrastructure
- Deep understanding of operational systems and processes
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in using data analysis and reporting tools for performance monitoring and optimization
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively collaborate with and influence cross-functional teams
Salary Ranges
Compensation: $127,050.00/Year - $181,500.00/Year
