About the role:

As Strategic Pricing Transformation Analyst with a focus on optimizing FIS’ Banking & Payments solution set, you will contribute to pricing initiatives which deliver real commercial results for FIS. This is a full-cycle role, developing the strategy, through to implementation of the plans and realization of revenue. You will be part of a small team of specialists supporting you in this endeavor and will partner closely with senior internal stakeholders in Finance, Sales, Relationship Management, Product Management and the General Managers/Lines of Business Leaders.

About the team:  

The Banking Solutions Pricing Strategy team is a strategic function in the Banking Pricing Organization leading pricing strategy and product pricing for our portfolio of Banking products, including payments, cards & money movement, core banking, and digital solutions. The team partners with key stakeholders across product & business lines, sales, and finance to set new product pricing and optimize and commercialize our existing solution set.

What you will be doing:

  • Support and lead initiatives to transform pricing strategies and processes. Identify opportunities for pricing optimization and implement changes to enhance profitability and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure smooth transitions during pricing transformations. Engage stakeholders and manage resistance to change.
  • Drive transformation projects by leveraging analytical skills and strategic thinking. Ensure successful implementation of new processes and systems.
  • Provide thought leadership on pricing strategy, with innovative ideas, and seeking out the opportunity to set market-leading pricing structures where possible.
  • Contribute to definition of pricing strategy across the FIS existing solution set, with a strong focus on value-based pricing and maximizing revenue and profitability.
  • Partner with the business segments to ensure pricing strategy is aligned with the business objectives, product cycles, sales plans, and go-to-market strategy.
  • Perform sophisticated ad hoc analysis in support of commercial and business teams.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, economics, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Pricing, Strategy, Finance, Product Management, or related functions
  • Experience leading projects from scoping to analysis to delivery and implementation with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Pricing experience
  • Proven ability to build collaborative working relationships and remain flexible and adaptable in the face of changing circumstances
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Excellent financial modeling and communication skills are essential

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience working in Financial Services, Payments, and/or a B2B SaaS environment
  • Knowledge of the Financial Services and Payments industries
  • A knowledge of pricing strategies with an emphasis on value-based concepts including economic value analysis, role of costs in pricing decisions, life cycle pricing concepts, financial analysis including breakeven sales calculations and margin analysis and the role of competition

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $89,180.00 - $149,820.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
