Job Description

As a Product Management Senior Consultant, you’ll play an integral role in transforming how we approach Specialty Line insurance. Picture yourself as the creative force behind a product that customers not only trust but love. You’ll leverage data & analytics, customer insights, and competitor intelligence to build a product that raises the industry standard while truly making a difference in people’s lives. You’ll also be responsible for supporting the overall health of our existing products, partnering with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to drive profitable growth.
We currently have three openings for this role. One opening will support umbrella products, one opening will support motorcycle & off-road vehicle products, and one opening will support renters products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support design of an innovative, best-in-class product that generates a strong return while also serving the unique needs of all customers.
  • Conduct forward-thinking industry and competitor research to shape product design
  • Collaborate with line manager, business partners, and technology experts to design and deliver market-changing solutions.
  • Leverage data to analyze business results, influencing both short and long-term strategies to achieve market share growth and profitability goals
  • Drive product excellence by influencing prioritization of the product backlog, incorporating stakeholder feedback to maximize business and customer value 
  • Lean into cross-functional partnerships (e.g., Marketing, Distribution) to align on strategies and go-to-market execution.
  • Measure and communicate business results to build advocacy and promote awareness throughout the organization

Skills

  • Experience: 3-5 years of insurance industry experience
  • Strong product, price, underwriting, financial and insurance regulation knowledge, with working knowledge of personal lines rate plans or product offerings
  • Utilizes business knowledge, data, experience, feedback, and judgment to make recommendations
  • High-level of comfort in navigating ambiguity
  • Ability to approach tactics and strategies holistically to understand how it may impact other parts of the organization
  • Ability to work autonomously and identify needed next steps without direction and take action to drive next steps
  • Natural curiosity and passion for learning

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is $70,500.00 - 124,125.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
