About the team and the role:
The Ambassador Initiative at eBay is focused on building a world-class platform for long-tail affiliates, micro-influencers, and eBay Enthusiasts to curate, share, and monetize eBay’s extensive inventory through social media and messaging channels. This initiative will build a new performance-based marketing channel, improving eBay’s social presence and driving engagement from a growing pool of partners.
We are seeking a Support Engagement Lead to manage the strategy, development, execution, and support of this initiative. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver an innovative, scalable, and intuitive platform that meets business goals while providing an outstanding experience for partners. You will have the opportunity to craft how eBay’s affiliates and influencers engage with the platform and drive social commerce growth.
What you will accomplish:

Support and help drive the product vision and strategy for the Affiliate Platform & Partner Experience.

Own the end-to-end operations of backend and client-facing goals, ensuring alignment with business goals and partner needs.

Collaborate with client support, engineering, design, marketing, and business teams to prioritize and develop features, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.

Work to resolve and address client issues or complaints, both directly and through the support team.

Manage any larger support projects that relate to the broader success of the Ambassador initiative and eBay affiliates as a whole.

Assist and Lead the design, launch, and long-time support of key features, such as personalized storefront creation, affiliate tracking integration, product recommendation tools, and performance dashboards.

Use data-driven decision-making and user feedback to optimize user experience, partner engagement, and to identify issues at the micro and macro levels.

Work closely with the marketing team to create messaging that resonates with target partners and supports eBay’s growth objectives.

Monitor partner feedback to continuously improve the platform, finding opportunities for new features or enhancements.

Champion a customer-first attitude, balancing business goals with user experience to deliver value to both partners and eBay.
What you will bring:
Education: BS in Business, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields; MS/MBA preferred.
Experience:
-
3+ years of project management experience, with a proven track record of leading sophisticated, cross-functional projects.
-
Knowledge of building and launching B2B or B2C platforms, ideally with a focus on e-commerce, affiliate marketing, or social commerce.

Expertise in managing user experiences, with a focus on self-service and scalable solutions for affiliates and influencers.
-
Experience using Salesforce or other CRM solutions. Certifications are a plus.

Exceptional communication, writing, and collaboration skills, able to translate business goals into actionable product strategies to address client feedback as well as communicate directly with clients at a personal level.

Experience working in agile environments, balancing multiple priorities, and delivering high-impact features.

Experience working with multi-national remote teams.
Additional Relevant Experience:
-
Hands-on experience with affiliate or influencer marketing platforms.

Experience in design, video editing, or web development.

Familiarity with social media platforms and tools for tracking performance metrics.

Proficiency in German is a plus.
