Job Overview:
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for growing Volcon’s customer base by engaging directly with clients through on-site visits, product demos, and trade shows. You will work to expand Volcon’s footprint within a defined territory, focusing on building relationships with new customers while maintaining and enhancing current accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:
    Identify potential customers within the powersports and utility vehicle market, presenting Volcon’s product offerings as the future of off-road experiences. Build and manage a pipeline of prospects within your territory through cold calls, networking events, and referrals.
  • Sales Presentations & Demos:
    Conduct in-person product demonstrations, showcasing the unique features of Volcon’s all-electric vehicles like the Grunt and the high-performance Stag. Tailor presentations to meet specific customer needs, whether for adventure or utility purposes.
  • Territory Management:
    Manage your designated sales territory, making regular visits to customers and prospects to maintain relationships and close deals. Track competitor activity and adjust sales strategies to stay ahead in a fast-evolving market.
  • Product Knowledge:
    Stay informed about the latest product developments at Volcon, including the integration of General Motors’ electric propulsion systems into upcoming models. Use this knowledge to explain how Volcon vehicles offer unparalleled performance, sustainability, and value​.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in outside sales, preferably within the powersports, automotive, or electric vehicle industries.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Self-motivated with strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the sales territory.
