Modio has streamlined the convoluted and messy process that is healthcare credentialing and saved countless years of manual and error-prone work in the process. As part of CHG Healthcare we are working to drastically improve the speed (and quality) of credentialing to ensure that our doctors can spend more time treating (millions) of patients each year and less time dealing with credentialing headaches.

As the Sales Leader, you will be responsible for building, leading, and scaling our outbound sales team. You will create and implement effective sales strategies, develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and set performance metrics to drive growth and achieve revenue targets. Your role will involve hiring and training top talent, managing sales processes, and ensuring the team meets its sales goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, onboard, and mentor a high-performing team of outbound sales representatives. Provide ongoing coaching and development to maximize individual and team performance.

  • Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive outbound sales strategy that aligns with company objectives. Identify and implement best practices to drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

  • Process Optimization: Create, document, and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for sales activities. Ensure sales processes are efficient, scalable, and aligned with industry standards.

  • Performance Management: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to track sales team performance. Analyze sales metrics and adjust strategies to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. Keep the team updated on industry trends, product knowledge, and sales techniques.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of salesinitiatives. Provide feedback on product features and customer needs to inform product development.

  • Market Analysis: Stay abreast of market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights. Use this information to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Sales Leader or similar role, with a strong track record of success in outbound sales within the SaaS industry.

  • Demonstrated ability to recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.

  • Exceptional business acumen with a deep understanding of sales strategies, metrics, and best practices.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize sales performance.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales tools.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $72,000 -- $192,000 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location. 

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
