About the Role
We're looking for a Outbound Sales Specialist to own the crucial mid-funnel stage of our revenue engine. This is a hybrid marketing + outbound execution role focused on turning demand into pipeline. You’ll be the connective tissue between inbound leads, outbound strategy, and our sales team using AI tools, strategic messaging, and personalized outreach to create high-quality sales opportunities. This is not a traditional BDR or demand gen role, you’ll own the strategy and execution for moving prospects from engaged to booked to qualified pipeline. You will work closely with both sales and marketing, but report directly to the Marketing organization.
This individual must be living on the East coast and work East coast business hours.
Responsibilities
Generate qualified opportunities by following up on mid-funnel marketing leads, MQLs and warm accounts
Experiment with new channels, tools, and workflows to drive scalable results, own AI and automation use to drive scalable results
Set meetings with key decision-makers at ICP accounts (e.g., CHROs, Talent Acquisition Leads, Engineering Leaders, etc.)
Build and execute multi-channel outbound sequences using tools like Apollo, LinkedIn, and AI-based personalization tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Lavender)
Manage follow-up on inbound and marketing-generated leads (webinars, events, content downloads, etc.)
Write high-converting outbound messaging and call scripts tailored to buyer personas
Execute high-quality, creative outbound touches (calls, emails, LinkedIn, video, direct mail etc.) to generate interest and book meetings with qualified buyers.
Personalize outreach using account intelligence, research and insights from marketing campaigns.
Partner with Marketing and Sales leadership to continuously optimize targeting, campaigns, and effective opportunity handoff
Track and report on KPIs like S0 created, S1 pipeline sourced, and revenue contribution
Experiment with new channels, tools, and workflows to drive scalable results
Design, build, and Execute a best-in-class handover process, ensuring our prospects have a seamless experience.
You Might Be a Fit If You...
Have 3–5 years experience in a combination of demand gen, outbound marketing, and/or full-cycle SDR/BDR/Sales roles
Have directly set meetings and sourced pipeline in a SaaS environment
Comfortable prospecting via phone as well as email and Social channelsLove writing compelling, human messages and experimenting with new outbound angles
Are excited to manage AI tools and automation to scale personalized outreach
Understand buyer psychology and how to nudge people from interest to action
Are comfortable being measured on pipeline created and revenue influenced, not just meetings booked
You are a self-starter and driven by hitting and exceeding set goals.
You are excellent at managing your time effectively and prioritizing tasks
You are strategic and creativeYou are excited about driving the “right” meetings that convert to pipeline and revenue rather than just driving high volume.
