Tecovas is looking for an Optimization Manager to manage and optimize technical SEO and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to enhance site performance, visibility, and user engagement. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Digital, you will oversee SEO platforms, A/B testing initiatives, analyze test results for actionable insights and ensure alignment of optimization efforts with business goals to drive conversion. 

This role is required to be based in Austin, TX. Candidates must either be currently located in or willing to relocate to Austin, TX.

What you’ll do:

Technical SEO Management:

  • Platform Oversight: Manage and optimize the technical SEO platform, continuously monitoring and interpreting SEO performance data to make informed recommendations.
  • Testing and Deployment: Develop, implement, and oversee SEO tests to assess the impact of changes on rankings, site visibility, and user engagement.
  • Strategic Recommendations: Leverage data from the SEO platform to build insights and advocate for high-impact adjustments to site structure, content, and other technical elements.
  • Trend Adaptation: Stay current with search engine algorithm changes and SEO trends, applying insights to proactively adjust strategies.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Work closely with our SEO vendor, ensuring their strategies and execution align with business objectives and the latest SEO best practices.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)

  • Manage the A/B testing platform, setting up and monitoring tests to drive meaningful optimizations across the site and ad landing pages.
  • Analyze and report meaningful test results, interpret analytics, and communicate actionable insights to key stakeholders.
  • Provide test adoption recommendations and financial analysis on estimated impact quarterly
  • Collaborate with UX and eCommerce teams to brainstorm and prioritize new testing opportunities.
  • Collaborate and provide feedback to A/B testing vendor

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with eCommerce, UX, and digital product teams to develop a continuous pipeline of ideas that align with business objectives.
  • Work closely with paid media & CRM teams to ensure landing page optimizations drive conversions.

Experience we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in SEO management and CRO, within an eCommerce environment.
  • Proficiency with AI-driven platforms for SEO and A/B testing.
  • Knowledge of UX and UI best practices 
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with digital analytics tools.
  • Some Javascript & HTML experience
