Operations Intern

We are seeking enthusiastic and ambitious individuals to join our Summer Internship Program for 8 weeks onsite in Austin, TX. As an intern with us, you will gain hands-on experience in your area of interest while working alongside your dedicated mentor and building connections with various other team members.

Favor’s Operations team is looking for an intern to support deep dive analysis and work alongside the Supply & Pay teams to provide solutions to address convenience store-related and integrated core order fulfillment on-time KPIs.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Operations and Business Analytics to pull and analyze data on quick shop and deliver/convenience-type merchants by market and merchant level
• Understand root issues with on-time and acceptance for integrated core 
• Test internally and benchmark externally the Runner experience and provide insights on common painpoints driving our metric misses
• Provide root cause analysis on fulfillment and on-time painpoints, and recommendations to address within our product, merchant/menu setup, and algorithm
• Work with Business Analytics to set up regular reporting sources and meetings to discuss outputs of the data analysis
• Assist with day-to-day on-time and fulfillment analysis with the team 

Skills You Have

• This role can help springboard your career in quality operations and allow you to grow in many different directions. You do not need to have formal training, but we will ask you to speak about how your background has prepared you for the work you’ll be doing as a member of the Operations team. Translatable backgrounds that might be successful include industrial engineering, operations research, supply chain, or a similar mix of training and experience that you think will make you successful on our team.

• You are self-motivated, resourceful, and able to execute assigned tasks efficiently and effectively
• You are curious, thorough, and are eager to dive into the details, ask questions, and solve problems
• You have strong communication skills (written and verbal) 
• You can build rapport and work collaboratively with others on a team
• You are an active undergraduate college student
