The Operations Engineering role is responsible for using internal tools at Unit 410 facilities to prepare, sign and broadcast operations. This role works closely with our product & wallet engineering teams to ensure tools & processes are heavily automated, resilient and secure. This role also works closely with our network research team to understand, prepare and optimize the operation support we provide clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage & Execute Operations: Unit 410 supports many operational requests from our clients that interact with offline hardware. This role manages the execution of those requests using internal tools & hardware.
  • Automation & Security: This role is also constantly looking for ways to automate and further secure our processes by identifying new software or process changes to speed up our business.
  • Facility IT, Security & Operations: This role is on-site 2-5 days / week in Austin Texas. There may be occasional traveling to other US based facilities. These facilities contain IT, Security & Monitoring controls that you will help administer while performing other work within.
  • Diligence & Details: Working with security sensitive systems requires a high level of rigor that you are able to help implement and automate. 

Nice To Have

  • Familiarity with cryptocurrency and private key management.
  • Willingness to travel domestically to other facilities.
  • Ability to contribute engineering changes to upstream systems and automate integrations.

The base salary range for this position is $100k to $200k. This position is eligible for incentive compensation in the form of a bonus.
