Onshore QA Lead
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Onshore QA Lead to oversee the testing efforts for the transformation projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of the project deliverables by leading testing activities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing regular updates on testing progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the testing phase, ensuring that all deliverables meet quality standards.
- Perform hands-on testing of the Life Insurance policy administration systems, primarily wmA / Ingenium etc and its associated peripheral applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and product managers, to understand requirements and provide feedback on test scenarios and strategies.
- Participate actively in project meetings, providing testing status updates, reporting on progress, and identifying potential risks or issues.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage, identify defects, and work with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Document test plans, test cases, and test scripts in accordance with project standards and methodologies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of life insurance processes and best practices to ensure alignment with industry standards.
- Provide expert insights on the policy administration systems contributing to the ongoing improvement of testing strategies.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of life insurance processes and proven expertise in policy admin systems.
- Hands-on experience working with policy administration systems (wmA / Ingenium or similar).
- Strong testing experience in an enterprise environment, including test planning, execution, and reporting.
- Knowledge of life insurance products, services, and systems is essential.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot issues and drive continuous improvements.
- Familiarity with automation testing tools and methodologies.
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
- Previous experience with insurance or financial services projects.
Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $91,400 - $169,700.
Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
