LastPass is hiring an MSP (Managed Security Provider) Business Development Representative to grow and expand our MSP partners. This person will be responsible for recruiting MSP Partners to maximize market adoption and growth. 

Job Description: 

Reporting to the North American MSP Manager, the MSP Business Development Representative will be a critical hire for LastPass as we look to increase our business in the Americas with MSP Partners.  

This role will be responsible for identifying, qualifying and recruiting new MSP Partners to rapidly expand our business in the market. This role will work closely with the MSP Manager and the company's technical resources to deliver a compelling value proposition in recruiting.  

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, a quick learner, and interested in a career in software security sales in a fast-paced, high growth environment. 

Key expectations include: 

  • An ability to differentiate the value of LastPass’ password[less] management software in a competitive environment.
  • An ability to explain the value proposition of product and be comfortable discussing its technical attributes.
  • Prospecting development, including the ability to target, call and engage with possible MSP Partners.
  • High energy and positive energy with phone call and email outreach.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date pipeline of relevant prospective opportunities. 
  • Participating in the development of joint marketing programs that define roles, maximize support and increase our market awareness
  • Assisting in the preparation of accurate and timely sales forecasts
  • Fuel the sales engine: Book 20+ meetings per month with qualified leads in the IT services industry Become a master prospector: Leverage your research skills to identify ideal clients and craft compelling value propositions.
  • Close the deal: Deliver impactful presentations, negotiate confidently, and secure new partnerships, consistently exceeding sales targets. 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to a variety of external audiences.
  • Personal drive to meet and exceed targets and goals
  • Cold calling experience
    • Must be coachable and outgoing 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this role across the U.S. is USD $50,000. In addition to the base pay, this position will have commission. Pay is based on several factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
