Mobile and IoT Sales Director

Location: Remote (U.S. Based)

About the Role

vCom is seeking a Mobile and IoT Sales Leader to guide and inspire a team of Technology Solutions Executives in delivering cutting-edge mobile and IoT solutions to customers. This is a player-coach leadership role where you’ll own sales strategy, team development, and execution across a growing portfolio. You’ll drive revenue, foster talent, and lead the charge on positioning vCom as the go-to partner for mobile transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and inspire a team of sales executives focused on mobile and IoT solutions.
  • Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing team members, aligning their goals with company objectives.
  • Oversee team forecasting, funnel management, and performance tracking.
  • Set clear goals and implement activity-based metrics to drive success.
  • Attend customer sales appointments and provide executive-level support on key deals.
  • Evaluate and refine sales processes to drive efficiency and results.
  • Build deep relationships with prospective and existing customers to understand their challenges and recommend tailored solutions.
  • Travel up to twice per month for client meetings and team engagement.

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales of mobile and IoT solutions.
  • Proven leadership experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technology concepts clearly.
  • Ability to sell consultatively to C-level stakeholders and technical buyers.
  • Deep understanding of mobile carriers, IoT, M2M, Fleet, Failover, and emerging technologies.
  • BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience.
