Title: Media Planner

The Role 
The Media Planner is a core member of the Unlock Health media team. This position is part of our Integrated Marketing Media team and will be influential in the day-to-day management of our client’s media plans. This person will be assigned a specific client roster and will be responsible for developing integrated and innovative media plans inclusive of search, digital, TV, radio, print, OOH and emerging platforms. This role requires strong technical and analytical skills to interpret data related to target media consumption, competitive activity, and campaign results. The ideal candidate has a collaborative mindset and thrives in a fast-paced environment while building relationships within the agency and with our clients.  

What You’ll Do

  • Work directly with the manager on developing and managing integrated media plans for all assigned clients
  • Develop, maintain, and communicate the flowchart to agency and client teams
  • Conduct target audience and competitive research and provide analysis
  • Evaluate partner opportunities and create client-facing POVs
  • Ensure timely creation, organization, and implementation of campaign paperwork, including flowcharts, authorizations, buying goals, IOs, and briefs
  • Collaborate closely with programmatic, social, traditional buying, and trafficking teams to ensure campaign success

Ideal Qualifications

  • 1-2+ years in media planning and/or buying, preferably in an agency environment
  • Experience planning and managing both traditional and digital media
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field
  • Proficiency in traditional and digital media landscapes and terminology
  • Strong understanding of client business objectives
  • Ability to conduct competitive data analysis and interpret target media consumption data
  • Solid command of media planning processes and tools such as Guideline, Resonate, SQAD and Vivvix
  • Experience in pulling Reach & Frequency (R/F) analyses
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Healthcare experience and/or a passion for healthcare industry
