Yondr’s business segments span numerous industries, primarily across education and live events. Yondr supports schools through cell phone-free programs. Our education programs facilitate the successful implementation of phone-free school environments by providing administrators and teachers with education, training, and development resources, along with all necessary equipment. In addition, Yondr supports top artists in music and comedy by creating phone-free shows, allowing performers and audience members to enjoy live performances without the distraction of phones.

Yondr is seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing Manager to support the next phase of the company’s growth. This role will help execute the overall marketing strategy, with a strong emphasis on supporting the Education sales team, as well as enhancing brand awareness and shaping brand identity.

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Steward the company’s positioning, messaging, and visual identity to establish and enhance awareness and brand affinity, particularly in the K-12 sector.

  • Lead the planning, execution, and optimization of multi-channel marketing campaigns, including digital, content marketing, email marketing, and events.

  • Oversee content strategy and production, ensuring content aligns with Yondr’s brand and resonates with target audiences.

  • Conduct research and cultivate insights that identify opportunities for the business; macro/micro trends, target audience preferences, and competition, etc. to inform marketing strategies.

  • Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using key metrics, generating insights to guide optimization and decision-making.

  • Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and aligned with company goals.

  • Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture.

  • Work closely across the marketing organization and with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, and Education Program Specialists to align on strategies, support product launches, and achieve shared objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 2 years in a senior role, preferably within the education sector.

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.

  • Strong understanding of different marketing channels, tools, and analytics platforms.

  • Experience with brand development and management, particularly in a startup environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives.

  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Leadership skills and experience managing and developing a team.

Additional Details

  • Employment Term: This position is offered as a six-month contract

  • Hybrid role and candidate must be onsite 2x/week at our NYC (Bowery) office

  • Type: Full-time, exempt

Compensation Range: $100K - $120K
