Sawhorse is on the hunt for a creative, strategy-driven Marketing Manager to help lead our brand’s vibe across all platforms. If you’re passionate about storytelling, building hype, and making meaningful connections, this is your chance to shine. You'll be the mastermind behind our marketing and PR efforts, from running our social media, content, events, award submissions, and more, to make sure Sawhorse stays top of mind within the industry. Our office is located in Los Angeles, and while we're a remote-first company, this role will require occasional on-site presence for shoots, events, client meetings etc.

Requirements
  • Brand Identity: Shape and refine Sawhorse’s brand presence, ensuring everything we put out reflects our ethos, creativity, and culture. Oversee our website, social media, and marketing assets, such as capabilities decks and pitch materials to maintain a strong, cohesive identity. Develop and execute a content strategy that aligns with our voice and engages our audience.
  • Marketing Content: Own the storytelling behind Sawhorse. Develop and publish blogs, vlogs, BTS content, and introduce fresh initiatives to highlight our work, culture, and creative process. Craft compelling narratives that showcase projects from inception to completion, positioning both the work and Sawhorse as industry leaders.
  • Social Media & Digital Presence: Run our social channels with strategy, creativity, and consistency. Write engaging posts, craft thought leadership pieces, and work with other departments to create eye-catching visuals and videos. Stay ahead of trends and make sure our content stays fresh, relevant, and scroll-stopping.
  • Events & Industry Hype: Manage our events calendar, find the must-attend industry moments and speaking opportunities. Handle logistics, support speakers, and coordinate influencer and media outreach. Create killer event content, from live coverage to recap reels that keep the momentum going.
  • Awards & Recognition: Lead the charge on agency-level award submissions. Find the must-win awards for Sawhorse and hype up nominations and wins across all platforms.
  • Press & External Relations: Build relationships with media, industry leaders, and influencers to amplify our voice. Secure features and placements that boost Sawhorse’s presence and reach within the creative world.
  • Marketing Ops & Strategy: Keep things running smoothly, own marketing calendars, track key metrics, and drive cross-company initiatives. Identify what’s working, optimize where needed, and bring new ideas and initiatives to the table.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in brand development, crafting digital marketing strategies and managing social media, with a deep understanding of current social trends and best practices.
  • Proven experience in marketing and public relations, preferably within the entertainment industry such as creative agencies, interactive studios or commercial production companies. 
  • Track record of driving brand growth and attracting new clients and opportunities.
  • Skilled in developing creative and impactful capabilities decks and case studies.
  • History managing PR efforts, including identifying speaking opportunities, articles and building media relationships.
  • Skilled in overseeing marketing content creation such as BTS, blogs, and vlogs, podcasts and similar.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple marketing initiatives and deadlines in a fast-paced, creative environment.
  • Working knowledge of Canva and other design platforms to modify social content (resizing, creating slideshow and reels, etc).
  • Passion for immersive media, production, and Sawhorse’s mission to push creative boundaries.
  • Based in Los Angeles with availability to attend on-set shoots, client meetings, and industry events as needed.
  • Be a steward for the Sawhorse culture - lead with kindness, joy, clarity, passion, relentless excellence, and most of all authenticity!

Nice To Have

  • Experience working at an agency setting in the creative field.
  • Understanding of UGC gaming platforms/Metaverse, Roblox and other interactive experiences.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator to make modifications to existing templates.
