About the Role

Chronosphere is seeking an experienced Marketing Manager for Northern Europe. As our first marketing employee in Europe, this role will develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies across Northern Europe, aligning with the company's overall business goals. You will develop and manage marketing campaigns and programs to drive the region's brand awareness, lead generation, and pipeline development. 

This role combines field marketing, PR/AR, demand generation, event management, and ABM. You are somewhat of a jack of all trades, understanding or quickly learning the many functions of marketing and how to create an integrated marketing plan. You will be supported by and work closely with our global marketing team while collaborating with our local sales team. You are creative and love finding new ways to solve challenges that resonate with our target audience. 

The ideal candidate understands the European B2B technology market and how to work successfully in a globally distributed team. The ideal candidate is currently located in UK, Denmark, or Netherlands,

You Will: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive Northern European marketing strategy aligned with global marketing objectives and local market needs. 

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and target customer insights to identify market growth opportunities.

  • Partner with our European-based sales leadership, BDRs, and marketing colleagues to optimize our marketing investments and programs for the Northern European market. 

  • Collaborate with creative teams to develop culturally relevant marketing materials and messaging. 

  • Collaborate across marketing functions, ensuring we take a regional and global approach to everything we do and all content we create, including demand generation, digital marketing, product marketing, etc. 

  • Drive engagement with regional prospects and customers through various channels, including email campaigns, social media, webinars, partner co-marketing activities, and selected events.

  • Manage our presence at industry tradeshows and related ancillary events. Recommend what events we should sponsor, speak at, or attend. 

  • Work closely with our PR leader and agency to identify press and thought leadership opportunities, developing pitches and bylines that resonate with the European audience. 

  • Develop relationships with European-based industry analysts, partnering with AR to hold briefings and inquiries. 

  • Collaborate with our channel and technology partners on co-marketing programs and campaigns. 

  • Develop and implement brand awareness initiatives to elevate the company's regional visibility, while ensuring consistent brand positioning and messaging across the region. 

You Have:  

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing with proven ability to develop and execute successful campaigns across multiple channels. 

  • 5+ years of experience at a high-tech or SaaS B2B company. 

  • Deep understanding of the European B2B technology market:
    Familiarity with diverse European cultures, consumer behaviors, and regulatory landscapes. 

  • Broad experience across field marketing, PR/AR, demand generation, event management, and ABM.

  • Proven experience managing both small and large events. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

  • Experience working in a distributed global team. 

  • Expertise in data analysis and using insights to inform marketing decisions. 

  • Strong program and project management skills, and able to hold yourself and others accountable for deliverables and deadlines. 

  • Comfort in a fast-paced, constantly changing, and evolving environment.

  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in one additional European language is desirable.

Location 

Remote but must be located in UK, Denmark, or Netherlands.
