We are seeking a talented Market & Product Analyst to join our Strategy and Growth Team to help shape the ongoing success and growth of our online education products. This critical role will be responsible for driving strategic insights through in-depth customer and competitor understanding and keen awareness of broader market trends. The ideal candidate will possess a unique ability to move beyond surface-level data to uncover the underlying needs and motivations of our customers and translate this knowledge into actionable recommendations that inform our product strategy and market positioning.

ABOUT THE POSITION

  • Full-time W2 position, work core U.S. business hours in your time zone
  • Work from your home office
  • Company-provided MacBook, internet stipend, etc

  • Must be located in the United States and be legally eligible to work for us
  • Travel is required for an all-company meeting, and may be required once or twice per year for team or project meetings

Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze raw data to identify areas for improving the user experience to ultimately drive customer retention and new customer acquisition.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, UX and operations, using insights to identify opportunities and inform business decisions.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand the needs of current and prospective customers.
  • Gather and synthesize primary and secondary data including business growth opportunities and competitive intelligence, identifying ways to differentiate our products. 
  • Track and measure the impact of experimentation/trial projects across our two platforms including customer satisfaction, NPS and churn/retention.
  • Leverage AI tools to improve efficiency in data analysis.
  • Stay up-to-date on the online education & training market by synthesizing and communicating key trends and industry changes.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in product analysis, market research or business intelligence
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools
  • Experience with both qualitative and quantitative research projects from start to finish
  • Skilled at both primary and secondary data gathering and analysis 
  • Experience using survey design tool such as Survey Monkey or Qualtrics
  • Skilled at Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Ability to showcase our company core values including being reliable and excellent, communicating effectively and acting like an owner

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior AI implementation using tools such as Google Gemini/AI Studio, ChatGPT
  • Experience with Pendo product analytics tool and/or Tableau software 
  • Product innovation/advanced concept experience utilizing various research methodologies
