This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.

At GoDaddy, we are seeking a Manager, Risk Management, to join our Finance team! This role will play a key role in supporting SOX compliance efforts, working closely with partners to assess risks, improve processes, and enhance control automation—leveraging technology, including AI, to optimize execution.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive team member who will help evaluate controls, identify process gaps, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the SOX program. This role reports to the Director of Risk Management and will work in close collaboration with the Senior Manager, Risk Management.
What you'll get to do...
- Assist in driving the SOX program by supporting SOX compliance activities and ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and industry standard processes
- Support SOX readiness assessments by understanding future state end-to-end processes, risks and controls, identifying control gaps and collaborating with partners on remediation efforts
- Work alongside IT and business partners to understand processes, assess risks, and provide recommendations to strengthen controls
- Coordinate with external auditors to facilitate SOX compliance audits, ensuring timely responses to requests and effective communication
- Help maintain and improve SOX-related documentation, risk assessments, and reporting, leveraging automation tools where possible
- Mature the SOX program and contribute to process efficiencies by identifying opportunities to simplify processes and controls
Your experience should include...
- 4+ years of experience in SOX compliance, audit, or risk management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, computer information systems or related field
- Recent public accounting background from a Big 4 Firm
- Strong understanding of SOX 404 and internal control frameworks (e.g., COSO, COBIT)
- Experience working with IT and business partners to assess and improve control environments
