We are seeking a Manager, Renewals Desk to join our team. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Waltham, MA or Austin, TX office.
Job Summary
The Imprivata Customer Experience department is looking for a Manager of the Renewals Quote Desk to join our team. Our team believes a customer's success is directly tied to the value they derive from our solutions and the positive impact we make on reducing friction in their end user's experience. We like to work hard, exceed our renewal targets but not take ourselves too seriously.
Our ideal candidate will have worked in fast-paced technology organizations with rapid growth and has experience managing subscription and maintenance renewals with customers/partners. You will be responsible for leading the team that manages renewal quoting operations and premier Channel renewals. The Manager will support the analysts and work with the renewal reps on contract review, quote pricing, and order processing. Additionally you'll own the renewal process from end-to-end for our highest level of Channel partners. By developing/enhancing business processes, you will ensure the best experience possible for our customers during the renewal process.
You should have a proven success with customers and internal stakeholders (e.g., Sales, Finance, Legal, and Customer Success) to ensure that value is realized for the customer and commercial objectives are aligned with the growth of our business. The Manager will identify process gaps, help with solutioning the improvements, and facilitate training as needed.
Reporting directly to the VP of Renewals & Success Operations, this person will be joining a team of collaborative and energetic individuals that work closely to achieve our company targets. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Renewals team with exceeding monthly/quarterly financial targets
  • Manage a team of Quote Desk Analysts
  • Subject-Matter-Expert for internal teams such as Sales Operations, Finance, and Legal for renewal quoting processes and best practices
  • Work collaboratively with Finance and Legal to process renewals per company guidelines
  • Responsible for the quoting and order processing of maintenance/subscription Renewals
  • Manage select channel partner relationships for their renewals deals
  • Enable the Renewals team to present quoting proposals to customers in a timely fashion
  • Comfort with quoting complex contracts for multiple products with usage and price increases
  • Capture, maintain, and disseminate accurate and relevant information using Salesforce.com
  • Create and maintain KPIs on the financial/operational health of the renewals business
  • Assist with forecasting renewal pricing and multi-year options
  • Develop playbook strategies and help facilitate the user training
  • Other duties as assigned


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years' experience in purchasing, operations, or renewing technology solutions
  • 3+ years' experience managing teams in contract renewal, operations, sales, or finance roles
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and a CRM system like Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrated history of meeting performance targets
  • Comfort quoting and managing a large volume of transactions
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • A passion for problem-solving, comfort with ambiguity and creativity
  • Motivated to succeed and participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced SaaS company


This position offers a total compensation range of $165,000.00 to $200,000.00 (inclusive of base salary and variable compensation, such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here. This range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
