Job Summary
The Identity Engineering Manager role is crucial in managing the Identity and Access Management (IAM) operations within the organization. This leader will oversee a dedicated team focused on IAM and Privileged Access Management (PAM), ensuring the security and integrity of identity access processes. The role involves daily operational duties for onboarding and offboarding identities, managing privileged access, and maintaining IAM systems and policies. The manager will work closely with Security, Compliance, and Legal teams to adhere to data protection and privacy regulations. As well as provide mentoring, coaching, and guidance beyond day-to-day routine.
Responsibilities

  • Lead the Identity Operations team with a focus on IAM and PAM, ensuring secure and efficient management of identity access processes.
  • Oversee daily operational duties for onboarding and offboarding of identities impacted by IAM and PAM processes.
  • Primary point of contact for all Role Based Access Control (RBAC) projects and efforts. Will drive continues integration and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure adherence to data protection and privacy laws and regulations.
  • Develop and maintain IAM systems and policies, ensuring the authentication, authorization, and auditing of client and user access to the company's services.
  • Lead and manage the Identity Operations team, providing guidance and direction to ensure high-quality technical support for all end-users.
  • Collaborate with IT management to align desktop support services with overall IT and business objectives.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' of experience in identity and access management with at least 3 years' proven experience in leading and managing an Identity Operations team
  • Proficiency in IAM and Privileged Access Management (PAM) systems and processes
  • Familiarity with concepts of Entitlement Reviews, Access Request Systems, and Separation of Duties in the context of identity and access governance tools
  • Knowledge of Identity federation principles and the ability to set standards for the firm in terms of identity & access management
  • Experience with onboarding applications for access entitlements, provisioning, and de-provisioning of users
  • Participation in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation for Cyber Security and Information Risk management
