About the team + role

At Robinhood, our mission is to democratize finance for all. The Capital Markets team plays a critical role in supporting this vision by ensuring the company has the financial resources and market access needed to grow, innovate, and manage risk. As the Manager of Capital Markets, you will lead our efforts to access, manage, and optimize funding channels for our credit products while supporting the Director of Capital Markets in building and maintaining strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, Rating Agencies and market participants. Reporting to our Director of Capital Markets you will work cross-functionally with teams such as Treasury, Finance, Credit, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance to drive strategic initiatives that support the growth of Robinhood Credit products.

It is preferred that this role is located in one of the office locations listed on this job description which will align with our in-office working environment. This position is only eligible for remote work in limited geographies within the US where we do not have physical office locations. What you’ll do

  • Manage debt funding operations. This includes preparation of legal documentation, monthly reporting on metrics, working with partner banks/investors on what is needed for deal compliance
  • Manage customer account movement operations. Moving account receivables from the issuing bank to our mastertrust structure. Working with engineering to build out a smooth process for this. Also streamline the payment activity associated with this transition
  • Build out daily settlement with key stakeholders: Work on building out a more efficient daily settlement procedure. This will evolve as we grow the business and more parties get involved
  • Portfolio reporting and covenant management: Provide updates on key triggers for deals, and overall portfolio performance.
  • Assist in acquiring new funding partners - Assist in the selection and onboarding of new funding partners
  • Assist in key relationship management - work with external partners as needed to execute funding and operations
  • Securitization readiness - build out process for securitization of cc receivables. This includes working with rating agencies, investors, etc. This will be new for Robinhood in 2025/2026
  • Reporting requirements - Execute monthly reporting requirements and quarterly covenant certificates

What you bring

  • 6+ years of experience in capital markets, corporate finance, or a related field, with a proven track record of establishing diversified funding sources for consumer asset classes (credit card experience preferred). 
  • Deep knowledge of financial markets, debt and equity instruments, and risk management practices.
  • Experience in fintech, banking, or other regulated industries (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to assess market trends and drive data-informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with institutional investors and financial institutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CFA designation preferred).
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements governing capital markets, including SEC, FINRA, and other applicable standards.

Base pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is based on the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation zones. This role is also eligible to participate in a Robinhood bonus plan and Robinhood’s equity plan. For other locations not listed, compensation can be discussed with your recruiter during the interview process.
