Discord is looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Lead to help acquire new audiences, engage our existing customers, and help grow our business. In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineering, Data Science, Product Design, Brand Marketing, as we continue to build impactful programs to acquire, retain, and monetize our users.

We’re looking for a hands-on and technical Lifecycle Marketing Lead who can think strategically and collaborate with our PM and Data teams to develop impactful strategies. This role also requires the ability to drive execution, leveraging our CRM software, Iterable. As the Lifecycle Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for three primary areas:

  • Find new ways to acquire and convert users via in-app and CRM channels. You will be responsible for finding new ways to engage and convert users on Discord at scale, while preserving a good user experience.
  • Supercharge our marketing technology. Working with product, data science and engineering, help build best-in-class marketing and growth technology tools and systems that drive our business forward including CRM, attribution modeling, and notifications.
  • Engage, retain, and grow our existing customers. Partner with product and engineering teams to develop smart lifecycle campaigns and create in-app product channels and notification systems that help engage our users. You will help us expand and grow our existing user base through marketing tech, tools, and levers.

What you'll be doing

  • Launch and iterate on programs in-product and CRM that drive new customers, engage existing customers, and grow revenue for Discord, globally, directly managing campaigns on Iterable (supported by our agency partners).
  • Work cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Data Science and Marketing to build, launch, and iterate on new acquisition and engagement programs.
  • Develop guidelines and principles for how we interact with users through in app and CRM channels.
  • Evolve the CRM marketing systems, tools, and technology for Discord working with engineering, product, and data science.

What you should have

  • 8+ years of experience in CRM / Growth marketing, customer engagement, or related fields.
  • Expert, hands-on level knowledge of CRM platforms, with a preference for Iterable.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful CRM strategies in a global context.
  • Ability to work with both product, engineering, data and marketing, creative, and brand.
  • You want to build a forward-thinking, data driven lifecycle marketing organization.

#LI-Remote

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 to $229,500 + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include equity, or benefits.
