Position Summary

If collaborating with others to solve big problems and managing the 4 pillars of project management (Scope, Time, Cost, & Quality) for multiple projects running in parallel in the fast-paced world of mobile game development sounds appealing, you might be exactly who we are looking for, and we might have the exact role you've been searching for.
With this role, we are looking for someone who has managed teams of various sizes , with varying skill sets. Someone who is experienced with all phases of development from the concept of an idea, through its release and support strategy. As a Lead Producer you will be expected to showcase your talents in the areas of project management, process management, methodology management, and production data analysis. This role will be part of our Gold Fish Casino Slots game team and report to the Production Director.
Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones for multiple projects . Oversee the execution and delivery of production plans, ensuring the deadlines and quality standards meet stakeholder expectations

• Manage and mentor junior producers, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional growth and project success . Responsible for mentorship, evaluations, conflict resolution and recognition of the staff to maintain highly motivated and engaged employees

• Set clear performance expectations for junior producer s and conduct regular performance reviews

• Performs regular risk management to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to keep projects on track

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between production, development, art, QA, and other departments.

• Fosters a culture of collaboration and Teamwork . Gets to healthy conflict by building trust through focusing on relationships

• Owns all aspects of Stakeholder Management from identification, analysis, and managing expectations . Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear and consistent communication . Prepare and deliver regular project status updates, reports, and presentations to stakeholders

• Drives change management at the Team level . Asking questions rather than giving answers to level up the Team to solve their own process or tooling challenges and utilizes a variety of techniques to assist the team in problem solving

• Be the subject matter expert (SME) and Team coach with different development Methodologies as well as Project Management skills

• Identify areas for improvement for team efficiency, performance, and quality based on production data analysis to be able to propose corrective actions

• Utilizing your deep understanding of production tooling , build projects, boards, workflows, and issues to facilitate communication, strengthen the process, and properly capture the information needed for operational analysis while keeping the overhead of managing tools to a minimum

• Ensure Team documentation is sufficient and identify ways where standardization across Teams will provide appropriate benefits

• Perform Team retrospectives or Postmortems as needed . Included with these will be root cause analysis, corrective action analysis, and cost benefit analysis

• Provides various visuals/tools to track the portfolio of projects a team is currently working on, or will be working on in the future including Road Maps/Gantt Charts, Dependency Map, Project Burndowns, etc. The team uses JIRA for tracking production so creating workflows, dashboards, and building reports is an expectation.

• Tracks trending data for team capacity . Utilizes various techniques to make sure team is working as effectively as possible while maintaining a healthy work/life balance

Qualifications
Education:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Required Experience:

• 6 + years project management experience working with or leading cross-functional teams of various sizes

• 6 + years in IT or video game development (Mobile is a plus)

• 2+ years of manage r experience.

• Experience working with or for a Project Management Organization (PMO) preferred

• Demonstrate a high level of written and verbal communication across all levels and organizations

• Experience in various project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile

• Certifications such as CSM and PMI or Six Sigma are preferred
