DIRECTV is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Marketing Advanced Analytics with expert level experience to analyze data from multiple sources. This role will be responsible for leveraging advanced analytics techniques to support strategy by analyzing our product performance including reporting for senior leadership and insights to help drive decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, statistical modeling, and marketing analytics, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations.

Here's what you’ll do:

  • Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) including sales, conversions, and other relevant metrics to inform product management and marketing decisions.
  • Analyze product usage data focusing on engagement and sales insights.
  • Measuring and reporting on product performance for new and existing products.
  • Present actionable insights to empower cross-functional decision-makers and key stakeholders.
  • Oversee complex data analysis projects, including predictive modeling, segmentation, and engagement analysis.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization.
  • Forecast Revenue KPI’s across DIRECTV products and cohorts.
  • Automate processes to deliver insights at the speed of the business.
  • Develop insights for Revenue Governance, analyzing and presenting deltas to the forecast and key drivers of underlying performance changes.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, economics, business or related quantitative field preferred; Master's degree a plus!
  • 3 – 5 years of related experience in advanced analytics, data science, big data, relational database structures, reporting, dashboarding, ad hoc analysis required, 5+ years of experience preferred.
  • Excellent at aggregating and synthesizing data in information into insights, utilizing analysis and data visualization to tell a data story.
  • Experience in Developing Forecasts.
  • Expertise in Python, SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, disparate data sets, data mining, data visualization tools.
  • Expertise in MS Office suite.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, must be capable of explaining complex information to others in straightforward manner.
  • Recommend solutions to improve performance based on analysis.
  • Must have excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
  • May require a background check due to job duties requiring routine access to DIRECTV and DIRECTV customer’s proprietary data. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction will be considered for employment in accordance with local ordinances and state law.

DIRECTV's compensation structure is designed to be market-competitive and fully supports efforts to attract and retain employees. It is the company's policy to offer pay that is competitive with other employers in the local market. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $105,830 - $192,050

Low (N1): $105,830 - $158,650

Mid (N2): $111,400 - $167,000

High (N3): $122,540 - $183,700

Top (N4): $128,110 - $192,050
