Job Summary:

Risepoint is hiring a Sr. Content Marketing Lead to join our remote SEO and Content Marketing teams. S/He will drive efforts in content development, article editing, style guideline management, freelance writing operations, and other cross-functional collaborations for university partners. These efforts will support the development of and analytical research for short-form organic articles, special content projects, refreshed and repurposed content, and other marketing communications to drive partner engagement. As a member of the Customer Experience team, your primary objective is student lead generation for online education.

 

Day In a Life:

The essential functions of this role are as follows:

  •  Lead content development tasks like creation of freelance writer purchase orders, organizing monthly content calendars, and aligning with SEO and publishing best practices

  • Manage team editing and writing resources that enforce style rules, applies partner-specific feedback, and adjusting style policies when necessary

  • Manage the team’s editors by delegating and assigning work as necessary, while promoting an encouraging workspace

  • Facilitate collaboration among internal and external parties to align content goals, KPIs, and purposes

  • Promote a cohesive team that is collaborative, productive, and supportive

  • Utilize content performance analysis and reporting to make strategic recommendations

  • Collaborate with SEO team and publishing efforts to improve content processes and performance

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and collaboration skills

  • Solid capabilities in content strategy, data collection, and analysis

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

  • Basic SEO knowledge

  • Ability to operate under pressure, within tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment

  • Demonstration of strong verbal written and presentation skills

  • Strong editing, writing and communication skills (including grammar, spelling, punctuation best practices and Associated Press Style knowledge)

  • Ability to logically prioritize multiple projects and deadlines at any given time

What You’ll Need for Success:

You must meet the following requirements to be considered for employment:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree with 3 + years of experience in content marketing and publishing. 

  • Preferred work experience in Workfront, WordPress and Microsoft Office 365.

  • Excellent project management, organizational, and collaboration skills

  • Solid capabilities in content strategy, data collection, and analysis

  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills

  • Basic SEO knowledge

  • Ability to operate under pressure, within tight deadlines and in a dynamic environment

  • Demonstration of strong verbal written and presentation skills

  • Strong editing, writing and communication skills (including grammar, spelling, punctuation best practices and Associated Press Style knowledge)

  • Ability to logically prioritize multiple projects and deadlines at any given time.
