Our innovative engineers are building technology that solves real-world problems in the crowdsourced delivery space. We are looking for an iOS Engineer to help build out Roadie’s Driver application. You will collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, UX Designers, and Data Scientists, breaking down sophisticated problems into small pieces suitable for quick iterations that add value for our Roadie drivers. 

What You’ll Do

  • Build and take ownership of new feature development and updates to the Driver application
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to design and deliver powerful new capabilities to developers building on the Roadie Driver application
  • Apply solid software engineering design patterns and best practices needed to evolve and improve our platform
  • Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with the team to find creative solutions
  • Collaborate with your teammates by reviewing code, writing documentation, refining best practices, and building maintainable and testable codebases
  • Contribute to iOS issue tracking and resolution
  • Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions
  • Research and suggest new mobile products, applications and protocols
  • Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or comparable experience
  • 3+ years experience in a iOS Engineer role
  • Strong experience in designing and developing native iOS functionality, testing and debugging
  • Experience with SwiftUI and it's view architecture
  • Strong background with Swift
  • Strong problem-solving skills, proven ability to translate ideas into code
  • Strong cross team communication with UX and backend engineering
  • Eager to learn and grow
  • Self driven nature with ability to be proactive when needed
  • Thrives in fast-paced environment, with ability to operate within short release-cycles
  • Detail-oriented nature with strong discipline for adhering to guidelines and designs
