The Head of Video Sales & Business Development is a newly formed position that will accelerate Jabra’s entry and growth in the Video Market.

Utilizing Jabra’s market-leading position in the Professional Audio market, Jabra’s extensive Customer and Channel access, and an ever-growing Product Portfolio, this role will direct the Go-To-Market efforts and Video Business performance for North America.

This role is a strategic and influential position, reporting to the North American Regional President, Enterprise Division.

Working cross-functionally with all sales functions, finance, marketing, and the Global Video Business Unit, the role will build and facilitate the regional video strategy and annual operational plans and oversee implementation, governance, and activity follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Strategy Development: Working with the Regional and Global functions to facilitate and write a 3-year moving strategy. The strategy will define the regional business goals, go-to-market approach, needed investments, organizational development, key priorities, and activities
  • Annual Operational Plan: Translate the Regional and Global Video Strategy, Annual Budget, and Business Goals into a North American annual Operational Plan.
  • Operational Plan Execution and Performance Monitoring: Work with all Regional and Global functions to ensure the execution of the Operational Plan. Monitor activity progress and follow up on business and operational performance metrics. Report outcomes and plans to address any performance issues.
  • Sales Forecasting & Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to assess sales trends, forecasts, and market conditions. Leverage this data to guide inventory allocation and plan for future product demand.
  • Reporting & Analytics: Create regular performance reports that track sales leads, opportunities, and channel and distribution partner performance, sell-through, sell-out, order status, and inventory levels. Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Video Community and Resources: Build and manage a community around our video business to develop skills, knowledge, and our ability to accomplish our plans.
  • Regional Issue and Opportunity Communication: Ensure the collation and effective communication of NA needs with other stakeholders, including, but not limited to, Product and Services feedback, Customer and Partner feedback, Pricing and Proposition feedback, and any other operational or financial feedback.
  • Channel Program Development: Manage and support the development of the Jabra Video Experts Club program in alignment with Global and Regional Channel Leadership.
  • End Customer and Channel Partner Engagement: Support Sales leadership in the development of key Customer and Channel partnerships

Experience & Education

  • 10+ years of experience in sales or product leadership, with a significant portion focused on within the UC and AV industries and with a specific background in Professional Video / Meeting Room Collaboration products
  • 10+ years of sales experience within a two-distribution channel go-to-market environment
  • Extensive experience in strategy and business plan development and overseeing execution

Skills

  • Accomplished in team facilitation and organizational leadership
  • Skilled in strategic thought, with a keen eye for analysis and troubleshooting pertinent to the UC and AV market
  • Innovative thinker willing to explore alternative strategies as necessitated by the organization and market conditions
  • Skill in navigating and operating efficiently within an environment characterized by continuous changes and activity
  • Proficient in articulating points and conveying written information clearly

Performance Metrics

  • Attainment of sales targets through channel and distribution networks
  • Growth in market share within key channels
  • Effective execution and establishment of Operational Plans
  • Financial performance metrics such as revenue, margins, and ROI

Pay Transparency Notice

  • Depending on your work location, the target annual salary for this position can range from $150,000.00 to $220,000.00, with a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end
  • Compensation for roles at GN depend on a wide array of factors including but not limited to location, role, skill set, and level of experience
  • To remain competitive, GN offers a competitive benefits package, including annual bonuses, health insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid vacation and holidays
