COMPANY OVERVIEW:

At Noonlight, our mission is to protect and comfort people so they can live freely. What began as an app focused on helping people walk safely from point A to point B, is now a suite of emergency response APIs backing some of the latest commercial security, smart home, health, and lifestyle products in the market.

Role Overview

We are seeking a visionary and execution-driven Head of Product to lead Noonlight’s product strategy and product and engineering team through the next phase of growth. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, customer empathy, and operational discipline. You will own the end-to-end product direction—defining where we’re going, how we’ll get there, and ensuring that every step adds meaningful value to our customers and partners.

You’ll partner closely with the leadership team to align product initiatives with company goals, while building a high-performing, mission-driven product organization. This is a hands-on leadership role for a product executive who thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments and leads with clarity, structure, and purpose.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Product Leadership & Vision

  • Define and maintain a clear product vision and clearly articulated roadmap that balances long-term ambition with near-term impact.
  • Ground product direction in deep customer and market understanding, and ensure all priorities are aligned with strategic business outcomes.
  • Drive product innovation to ensure Noonlight’s products are not only differentiated but also set the standard in the market.

Organizational Alignment & Execution

  • Translate strategy into clear plans and processes—ensuring teams are aligned, focused, and accountable for results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to drive clarity, set milestones, and ensure that roadmaps are understood, actionable, and measured.
  • Communicate the “why,” “what,” and “how” of product decisions with consistency, context, and confidence.

Team Leadership & Culture

  • Build and lead a high-performing product and engineering organization with a strong culture of ownership, feedback, and continuous learning.
  • Develop talent through clear expectations, thoughtful coaching, and structured professional development.
  • Promote disciplined product practices, including strong documentation, process consistency, and clarity at scale.

Customer-Centric Decision Making

  • Stay close to customer needs, market shifts, and usage data—ensuring both quantitative and qualitative insights drive decision-making.
  • Ensure all product initiatives are aligned with delivering real, measurable value for users and partners.

Scaling for Growth

  • Evolve Noonlight’s product and development operating model to support growth, balancing agility with the structure required to scale effectively.
  • Foster a resilient, adaptable culture that can evolve with the business—without losing clarity or momentum.

Technical Proficiency

  • Possess a strong technical background, with B2B or platform/API-first companies. This will enable you to better understand and guide the product development process, and effectively collaborate with the engineering team.

Product Development Experience

  • Extensive experience with the end-to-end product development lifecycle is crucial. This includes experience in conceptualizing, designing, developing, and launching tech products. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or other relevant methodologies is a plus.

Technical Leadership

  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and managing technical projects, comfortable making decisions about technical trade-offs and be able to guide and mentor your team in making these decisions. Strong skills in project management, resource allocation, and strategic planning are also essential.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of product leadership experience, ideally in B2B or platform/API-first companies.
  • Proven success leading product strategy, cross-functional execution, and high-performing teams in growth-stage or scaling environments.
  • Executive-level communication skills with the ability to influence across APand non-technical audiences.
  • Deep product intuition, paired with analytical rigor and sound judgment.
  • Strong alignment to customer outcomes, business impact, and team development.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in IoT, smart home, security monitoring, or safety-related industries.
  • Technical foundation (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering) or equivalent product/technical fluency.
