The Role

Ouro is seeking a Head of Lifecycle Marketing to own and scale customer engagement strategies and marketing enablement across the full lifecycle. This leader will leverage Braze, CRM, and marketing automation to drive acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and reactivation efforts.

The ideal candidate is a full-stack marketer, meaning they can seamlessly integrate strategy, execution, analytics, and technology to drive measurable growth. They should have a deep understanding of paid, owned, and earned channels, along with expertise in data-driven decision-making, journey orchestration, and customer segmentation in the fintech space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop & Execute Full-Stack Lifecycle Strategy – Own and optimize the customer journey across email, push, in-app, SMS, and paid remarketing channels to maximize engagement and lifetime value (LTV).

  • Hands-On with Braze & CRM Tools – Design and launch sophisticated multi-channel campaigns using Braze, automation tools, and first-party data to deliver personalized customer experiences.

  • Acquisition & Retargeting – Work closely with growth marketing to create seamless experiences between paid acquisition channels (social, search, programmatic) and lifecycle touchpoints.

  • Data-Driven Optimization – Leverage analytics, A/B testing, and predictive modeling to continuously refine messaging, channel mix, and timing.

  • Full-Funnel Personalization – Develop hyper-segmented strategies using behavioral, transactional, and demographic data to drive tailored interactions.

  • Own Customer Churn & Win-Back – Build data-backed re-engagement and loyalty programs to reduce churn and reactivate high-value users.

  • Martech & Experimentation – Partner with Data Science, Product, and Engineering to ensure marketing stack efficiency, data integration, and customer insights are fully leveraged.

  • Growth Hacking Mindset – Test, iterate, and optimize campaigns with a focus on improving ARPU, conversion rates, and retention KPIs.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years in lifecycle, CRM, or retention marketing, with at least 5 years in fintech, payments, or financial services.

  • Full-Stack Marketing Expertise – Proven ability to blend brand, performance, and product marketing to drive customer engagement and revenue growth.

  • Deep Braze & CRM Proficiency – Hands-on experience designing complex lifecycle journeys using Braze (Canvas, segmentation, personalization).

  • Strong understanding of paid and owned channel integration, with experience driving lifecycle impact across online funnels, app downloads,email, SMS, push, retargeting, and in-product messaging.

  • Data Fluency – Ability to work with SQL, Looker, Google Analytics, or similar tools to inform strategy and decision-making.

  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with Product, Data Science, and Engineering to optimize customer engagement.

  • Ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
