Imagine having an enterprise-grade AppStore at work — one that ensures you can easily search, request, and gain access to any app you need, precisely when you need it. No more long waiting times with outstanding IT requests. Lumos is solving the app and access management challenges for organizations of all sizes through a unified platform. Our fast-growing startup is pioneering the way to untangle the complex web of app and access management by building the critical infrastructure that defines relationships between app, identities and data.

Why Lumos?

  • Jump on a Rocketship: Since launching out of stealth mode just over 2 years ago, our team has grown from 20 to ~100 people and our customer base has 10x’ed with companies like GitHub, MongoDB and Major League Baseball!
  • Build with Renowned Investor Backing: Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) backed us since the beginning and we've raised over $65m from Scale, Neo, Greg Brockman (President at OpenAI), Phil Venables (CISO at Google), and others.
  • Thrive in a Unique Culture: You’ll join an early-stage company where you have actual influence on the trajectory of the company. We deeply care about our people and the philosophy we live by - check out our values here.

As our Head of Corporate Marketing, you will be responsible for ensuring everyone knows, loves, and shares Lumos’ story. You’ll work closely with our CEO to define the company brand narrative, communicate our vision through owned and earned media channels, and inspire our most important audiences (customers, partners, press, analysts, influencers, and employees) to become our strongest advocates. This is an exciting opportunity to shape how we create the category for autonomous identity and introduce Lumos to the world.

Your Responsibilities

  • Brand Narrative - Work closely with our CEO, executive stakeholders, and customer champions to understand and synthesize a bold brand story that is true to Lumos’ vision and values, and authentic to how our best customers think about us.
  • Comms - Take a creative approach to engaging industry analysts, influencers, and reporters around Lumos’ story, product announcements, and company news. Build out a foundational PR program rooted in a regular cadence of product and company news, that also establishes our CEO as a leading voice in the identity and security space.
  • Content - Create industry thought-leadership and elevate Lumos’ brand through the development of engaging and insightful content. Drive a centralized content strategy for our blog and social channels. Recruit and manage a deep bench of content contributors and influencers from inside and outside the company to support aggressive targets for web traffic and engagement.
  • Customer Marketing - Work with sales and CS to recruit customer champions who are willing and able to share their experience with Lumos at events, through written case studies, video testimonials, with press and analysts, and in peer reviews.

🙌 What We Value

We value leaders with a proven track record of building and scaling early-stage B2B brands. You’re a passionate story hunter, builder and teller. You find creative ways to build urgency for and draw attention to the companies you work for. You are a master of all channels - earned (PR), owned (blog/social), and paid (ads). With a steady ear to the ground, you find opportunities and pounce on them as they arise. You think big and push those around you to do the same. You’re a movement builder, obsessed with engaging a broad community of followers who become our biggest advocates.

Thanks for considering Lumos! We can’t wait to explore your impact and vision.
