About the role:
As the Global Head of Field Engineering, you will be a key leader in Monte Carlo’s go-to-market strategy, driving the vision, execution, and scaling of our global Field Engineering teams. You will define and implement strategies that enhance technical sales motions, enable our sales teams, and ensure customers fully understand the value of Monte Carlo’s platform. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to advocate for customer needs while building a world-class Sales Engineering organization.
This role is remote, based anywhere in the US, and will report directly to the Chief Revenue Officer.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Leading and scaling a world-class Field Engineering team to support Monte Carlo’s rapid global growth, hiring and mentoring top talent.

Owning and refining technical sales strategies that align with business goals and accelerate deal cycles across diverse markets.

Driving technical enablement by ensuring sales engineers are equipped with the latest tools, processes, and best practices.

Evangelizing Monte Carlo’s solutions to enterprise customers, partners, and stakeholders through high-impact presentations, demonstrations, and proof-of-value engagements.

Collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and customer success teams to shape product direction and enhance customer experience.
We’re excited about you because you have:

10+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Sales, or Customer Success for a technical product, with 5+ years in a leadership role.

Deep expertise in data products and solutions, including cloud data warehousing, data lakes, ETL workflows, BI solutions, and SQL.

Proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams in a fast-paced, global environment.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Strong business and technical acumen, with a data-driven approach to decision-making and strategy execution.

Experience working in high-growth startups or similarly ambiguous environments, demonstrating adaptability and innovation.
