The Job:  

The Global Executive Recruiting Coordinator is an interactional support role responsible for delivering a world-class candidate experience from interview through to the first day of employment for our executive candidate population. This role will require a high level of complexity related to internal client and external candidate management for our senior-most leaders at Stanley Black & Decker.   The Global Executive Recruiting Coordinator will partner with Executive Recruiters, HR Business Partners, HR Centers of Excellence, Hiring Leaders and Vendors to ensure appropriate candidate care and communications, compliance to standard work, applicable employment law and company policies. 

As a Global Executive Recruiting Coordinator, you’ll be part of our Talent Acquisition team working as a remote employee.    You’ll get to:  

  • Own the executive candidate experience and candidate logistics from initial interview to employment start date.
  • Deliver high-quality interview experience for candidates to include travel scheduling, expense reimbursement guidance, interview scheduling and logistics, as well as coaching and guiding throughout the process
  • Manage complex executive interview scheduling process and last-minute change requests by partnering with Executive Assistants across the enterprise.
  • Coordinate on-site logistics on interview day and ensure candidates are escorted and supported as required.
  • Coordinate interview debrief sessions and ensure compliance with interview feedback and documentation guidelines.
  • Partner with Global Mobility Services to initiate relocation requests.
  • Develop partnerships with regional HR and Talent Acquisition leaders to execute recruiting coordination for executive level roles globally.
  • Manage drug screen and background investigation process in partnership with HR Services to ensure on time performance, compliance to Stanley Black & Decker policies and applicable employment law.
  • Inform and coach hiring manager and HRBP on process steps, onboarding requirements, communication expectations and progress.
  • Maintain regular “white glove” communications with candidates to ensure awareness of process and progress towards their start date.
  • Ensure actions are in compliance with Company policies and procedures and to local, state, and federal employment law.
  • Actively support as needed talent acquisition tools and process improvement implementations.
  • Collaborate with HRBPs, COEs, and other HR groups as needed. 

The Person:

  • A minimum of 5 years of leadership coordination experience working with multiple priorities in a time-sensitive, highly visible environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and in writing. Able to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner at all times with all levels of stakeholders and customers.
  • Customer focused with strong analytical and problem-solving capability in the spirit of continuous improvement.
  • Experience with HR systems preferred (selected candidate will need to quickly get up to speed with Workday, SharePoint, Concur, etc)
  • HR policy and program administration experience preferred.
  • Intermediate level MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) skills are required.
  • Project management skills a plus.
  • Comfortable working with highly sensitive information and ability to maintain impeccable confidentiality.
