Position Summary
The Business Process Consultant position requires the incumbent manage and execute on-site and remote initial delivery of CDK software, application, and business process consulting and training.
Responsibilities

Responsible for providing technical consulting to Independent Software Vendors (ISV) and managing the vendor as they progress through the integration certification process of API integration. Expected to be able to work with multiple vendors in various stages of the certification process simultaneously;

Liaise with Account Management teams to keep them updated on progress with clients and facilitate sales opportunities for consulting and other CDK products.

Responsible for coordinating with Data & Fortellis Sales Engineers to provide technical integration assessments for third party vendor applications.

Responsible for providing technical support to the Data & Fortellis R&D team and certifying Data & Fortellis products prior to the release of product for use by ISVs.

Responsible for troubleshooting product development and production support application integration issues as necessary. Serves as the Tier 3 escalation point for production support issues escalated by Data & Fortellis Support.

Responsible for coordinating and managing customer simulation testing of DMS applications and API changes with integrating ISVs.

Responsible for acquiring and maintaining in-depth knowledge of integrated CDK applications.

Responsible for contributing to efforts to continuously improve organizational processes, such as the identification and documentation of standards and best practices related to the activities of their role in the Data & Fortellis program.

Open to travel for internal meetings as required.
Job Requirements
-
At least 5 years experience working with software requirements, troubleshooting software issues, and testing software to ensure that it meets requirements.

At least 5 years experience working with and/or supporting CDK applications such as CRM, F&I, Accounting, Parts, and Service.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Proficiency in working with ENGLISH query language and DMS operating system.

Preferred experience within the automotive industry and automotive dealership management.

Ability to consult with client’s staff at all levels.

Ability to work independently with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication skills are required as this is a customer facing position.

Strong organizational skills and be able to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Understanding business environments and associated processes and to effectively communicate about them to a technical audience.

Ability to effectively manage the expectations of Customers, Product/Program/Project Managers, Developers, and QA Engineers.

Proficiency with MS Office products.

Ability to work remotely with clients.
Salary Range: $64,800.00 - $82,000
CDK Global is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Compensation packages are based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, certifications, and work location.
