We are seeking a skilled FP&A professional to lead financial planning for your assigned lines of business, manage budgets, and give strategic financial guidance to our organization. In this role, you’ll oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes, delivering detailed reports and analysis that inform senior management and support business decisions. You will use financial planning software to improve processes and maintain data precision. You'll work collaboratively with the Sales, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure that financial goals are aligned with the company's activities. You’ll monitor key performance metrics, providing recommendations to optimize operations and achieve cost efficiencies. Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders is key, as you’ll work closely across teams to drive alignment and communicate financial insights effectively.

What you'll do:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and manage the financial planning processes, including annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term strategic plans.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare and present detailed financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting trends, variances, and insights that support decision-making.
  • Planning Tools Proficiency: Utilize financial planning tools (such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan, or similar) to streamline budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with departments such as Sales, Operations, and Marketing to gather insights and align financial targets with operational goals. Facilitate effective communication of financial data and implications across teams.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze business performance metrics and KPIs, providing actionable recommendations for operational improvements and cost efficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster cooperation and alignment on financial objectives and initiatives.

The Experience you bring:

  • 7+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis 
  • Strong Financial awareness and diligence, including risk mitigation.
  • Keen business acumen with the ability to “read the room”
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to partner with many business areas and at executive level
  • Ability to think tactically, strategically and creatively; capable of prioritizing and executing on many projects at once
  • Ability to understand financial drivers and outcomes in the business; ability to summarize information and effectively communicate to both financial and non-financial audiences
  • Ability to work with large amounts of data and create summaries, project plans, financial projections, period to date progress, and recovery plans when necessary
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel

Bonus points if you have:

  • Bachelors' degree or above
  • High growth company experience, the in SaaS, PaaS, or iPaaS industry
  • Familiarity with financial planning tools (e.g. Adaptive), Salesforce, ERP (e.g. NetSuite)

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base compensation for this position in the US ranges between $120,000 - $160,000 annually + applicable bonus. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
