Summary
The FAS Business Analyst is a key leadership role responsible for driving the technology and data vision within the Financial Accounting Services (FAS) organization. This position is crucial in shaping the strategy for system enhancements and ensuring the seamless scaling of FAS operations while aligning with the functionality of Workday. The FAS Program Manager collaborates closely with the Development team to drive the testing, development, and continuous improvement of products, bug fixes, and operational processes. Additionally, this role is accountable for defining and implementing analytical solutions and reporting systems to monitor and optimize team performance. The FAS Program Manager will also foster and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, playing a key role in client retention and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of technology and data strategies to enhance the effectiveness of the Financial Accounting Services organization.
- Define system enhancements to scale FAS operations, ensuring alignment with Workday’s functionality.
- Collaborate with the Development team to prioritize and manage the testing, development, and deployment of new products, system updates, and bug fixes.
- Drive the creation and implementation of analytical solutions and reporting systems to monitor team effectiveness and operational performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business goals and contributing to client retention and satisfaction.
- Continuously assess and improve FAS processes, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency gains.
Required Qualifications
- Three to four years of experience in an analytical or IT support role.
- Proven experience in program or project management, ideally within a technology or financial accounting environment.
- Strong understanding of Workday functionality and experience in scaling operations within an enterprise system.
- Solid technical background, with experience working alongside development teams to manage system enhancements and troubleshooting.
- Expertise in developing analytical solutions, data reporting, and performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across various teams and levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to process improvement.
