Job Description
The role of Project Delivery Support is responsible for supporting all aspects of Project Management and Project Control across key areas of Development, Production and Sustainment on the F-35 Lightning II program. They will act as a key internal and external point of contact on all aspects of the EVMS and Cost and Schedule Data reporting into the Project Deli Manager.
The Project Delivery Support is responsible for cost estimating, cost management, planning, controls and project reporting and insight.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Project Control for contracts (core process governance, earned value management application and control and maintenance of core dataset and toolsets)
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project team including technical Control Account Managers
  • Implement standardized Risk and Opportunity process through the business to include the identification and mitigation of technical, reputational, and financial risks - drive closure of risks and realization of opportunities through the business
  • Carry out root-cause analysis on ongoing projects to measure what is achieved based on progress reports and feedback to project delivery teams to ensure timely completion
  • Support key Production, Development and Sustainment projects by providing valuable Project Control input into project execution and project strategies to frame project delivery
  • Monitor progress of the work for timely execution of the project through weekly/monthly reports with respect to review of the overall project status and project control

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Typically 4+ years progressive experience in Project Management and a Bachelor's Degree or 2+ years with a Master's Degree in Business/Project Management or equivalent additional relevant experience
  • Complete understanding of industry project management framework and application of principles, concepts, practices and standards along with wide application of technical principles.
  • PMP certification required or the ability to achieve certification within the first year
  • Experience in US government contracts and on EV required contracts
  • Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires US citizenship status.


Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Experience on the F-35 Program in Program Management or related team
  • Ability to interface with people at different levels and skills within Lockheed Martin and BAE Systems organizations
  • Risk and opportunity management
  • Customer stakeholder management


Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $81500 - $138600
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
