Ever wanted to save a life?  We are looking for a Software Engineer to focus on our products used by the security and alarm industry.  Our software integrates with hundreds of software systems including sensors, motion detectors, fire alarms, panels, video surveillance cameras, and more. We are looking for an engineer to help us build, improve, and support these integrations. This position is for somebody who enjoys problem solving directly with customers and vendors while working on a variety of engineering projects that involve many different systems.

Responsibilities: As a member of our highly skilled engineering team, you will work closely with business experts and external vendors to support our current integrations and assist in building out new integrations.  

Skills and Experience Needed:

  • 7+ Years of Coding experience in C# and .NET
  • Experience in designing, building, documenting and maintaining REST and SOAP APIs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience working directly with external partners or customers
  • Experience designing fault-tolerant, highly available and maintainable systems.
  • Knowledge of common architectural patterns and best practices
  • Experience debugging and testing complex systems

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with T-SQL, Stored Procedures and SQL Server Management Studio
  • C++ Experience
  • VB6 and COM component experience.
  • Experience writing unit tests, mocks, and TDD techniques
  • Experience with Windows services
  • SignalR and WebSocket experience
  • Knowledge of TCP Sockets
  • Video integration knowledge

Where: Remote, US
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation: The target compensation for this position is $125-$150K in most US locations. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including location, local market variances, and candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed above
