About The Role 

This is a fantastic opportunity in a high-growth, high-potential startup. You will work with a team of dynamic post-sales individuals and customers who take pride in solving complex problems. The Enterprise Engagement Architect is in charge of successfully launching a Prophecy solution by managing all aspects of the project, including timely deliverables. The goal is to ensure that the value outlined in the purchase process is achieved, documented, and communicated throughout the engagement.

Additionally, our Enterprise Engagement Architect is responsible for understanding a customer's desired goals, current state, and business objectives while working with Prophecy enterprise architects to craft a solution that meets the customer’s needs. To accomplish their responsibilities, they will work cross-functionally with our customer success, sales, pre-sales engineers, support, product management, and engineering departments. Additionally, this role is an executive advisor and project manager for Prophecy valued customers. 

In addition, you will:

  • Understand customers' strategic business objectives through an engineering lens.
  • Be a trusted advisor and first point of contact throughout the customer journey to ensure the customer gets to business value as quickly as possible.
  • Build relationships with customer executives and champions, manage key stakeholders, and drive escalations internally and with the customer.
  • Internally coordinate between sales, engineering, product, leadership, and support to identify and resolve customer issues.
  • Help build best practices resources for delivering Prophecy and share them amongst team members and customers.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience as an Technical Account Manager, Solution Architect or a Technical customer facing role.
  • Extensive customer-facing experience and expertise in working with Decision-makers, Budget owners and customer leadership 
  • Ability to quickly understand complex data engineering problems and design architectures on modern solutions using Prophecy on a data lake/house (e.g., with Databricks / Spark, Azure Synapse, Google Dataproc) 
  • Understanding and experience with PySpark/SQL and/or other functional programming languages.
  • Past hands-on experience with one of the ETL tools such as Alteryx, Matillion, Informatica, Abinitio, DataStage, or similar
  • Ability to define and drive strategic business outcomes
  • Ability to drive customer’s Technology Roadmap and work with Prophecy Product/Engg to deliver it
  • Ambitious and self-motivated with a high degree of technical curiosity
  • Ability to travel as needed
