Engineering Program Analyst

Job Description Summary

Position supports a major financial services client in New York, NY. The position will be responsible for supporting delivery of engineering services to a domestic portfolio of mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) assets in an office and retail banking environment.
• This role will reside in the service provider’s Engineering group dedicated to supporting the client’s Critical Facilities department.
• The role will report into the group’s Senior Director of Engineering and partner with account based operations, asset, risk and energy managers.
• The position will assist account leadership in developing, delivering and maintaining a critical maintenance and operations program based on a suite of policies, projects and initiatives defined in the service provider’s scope of services to the client.
• Position will collaborate with corporate subject matter experts and on account managers to manage operations, develop processes, reports and policies related to engineering operations, business continuity, risk management, sustainability and regulatory compliance.
• Position requires an understanding of the design principles, efficient operating principles, maintenance requirements and equipment lifecycle expectations within a facility.
• Position requires excellent written and verbal communication, organization and interpersonal skills. Must be able to use sound judgement and discretion and must demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and initiative to drive the organizational process.
• Position must be able to initiate and complete projects and reports independently, accurately and often under deadline pressure. Must have the ability to process, prioritize, assign and follow-up on requests.

Job Description

  • Provide critical operations support and technical oversight for assigned facilities.  Ensure that facilities are follow agreed operations and maintenance targets cost effectively, safely and in first class condition.
  • Coordinate with client and account management to organize and prioritize program deliverables.
  • Coordinate with account leaders and corporate subject matter experts (SMEs) the development of the strategy, governance and timeline for program deliverables.
  • Develop documentation, obtain approvals, manage deployment, define governance and success measures for program deliverables.
  • Maintain documentation of policies, frameworks and training guides related to developed programs.  
  • Prepare professional documents to describe programs, define processes, create reports and training materials for program end users and stakeholders.

The compensation that will be offered to the successful candidate will depend on factors such as whether the position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement, the geographic area in which the work will be performed, market pay rates in that area, and the candidate’s experience and qualifications.


The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.


The compensation for the position is: $80,750.00 - $95,000.00
