Duties/Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition Leadership & Strategy

Develop and set the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap for talent acquisition to meet the evolving talent needs of the business.

Partner with executive leadership, business units, and HR COE teams to understand current and future workforce requirements.

Build a comprehensive recruitment strategy aligned with the dynamic needs of the custody and clearing industry, emphasizing regulatory expertise and niche skill sets.

Establish KPIs, metrics, and reporting tools to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of talent acquisition efforts.
Recruitment Execution

Oversee the end-to-end recruitment life cycle for experienced roles and management hires.

Direct and support the talent acquisition team in sourcing, selecting, and onboarding top talent across all business functions (e.g., financial services operations, technology, business operations, etc.).

Ensure adherence to rigorous hiring processes in highly regulated environments to meet compliance and audit standards.

Provide strategic guidance on workforce trends, talent pipelines, and competitive intelligence.
Employer Branding

Strengthen the company's external employer brand to position Apex as the employer of choice within the fintech space.

Enhance engagement with universities, professional networking organizations, and industry-specific communities to build long-term talent pipelines.
Team Leadership and Development

Lead, coach, and mentor a high-performing talent acquisition team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Promote professional development within the team to ensure they are equipped to navigate emerging talent and recruiting trends.
Partnerships and Vendor Management

Manage relationships with third-party recruitment vendors, retained search firms, and technology partners, ensuring they align with strategic business needs.

Evaluate and implement talent acquisition technologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I)

Champion Apex's commitment to diversity and inclusion, building programs and partnerships that expand access to diverse talent pools.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external organizations to enhance outreach to underrepresented communities.
Education and/or Experience
-
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required
-
10+ years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.

Proven track record of designing and implementing effective recruiting strategies and employment branding initiatives.
-
Expertise in high-volume recruiting, as well as hiring for specialized areas like compliance, risk management, and technology.

Proven track record of driving DE&I recruiting initiatives and results.

Experience leading global recruitment strategies or working within a multi-location organization (EMEA & APAC).
Required Skills/Abilities

Strategic thinker with the ability to align talent acquisition strategies to organizational goals.

Strong business acumen, with a deep understanding of the fintech industry and its specific talent requirements.

Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance standards, and hiring regulations.

Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills to influence at all levels of the organization.

Results-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and human capital technology platforms (Workday).

Salary Range
$167,000-$209,000
The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
