About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Strategic Partnerships and Affiliates to drive significant growth and solidify our position as the leading rez-tech provider in the Travel Accommodation and Activities (TAA) sector.

The Director of Strategic Partnerships and Affiliates will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnership and affiliate strategy to position FareHarbor in a unique position as a TAA supply aggregator, drive demand for our clients, and scale our efforts in rolling out new affiliate solutions. This role requires a commercial leader and strategic thinker with a proven track record of building and managing successful partnerships (and teams) and affiliate programs, particularly within the travel technology industry.

What you’ll do here:

  • Grow FareHarbor’s affiliate offers and overall clients’  business through 3rd party channels
    • Drive increased demand for FH clients by a unique market approach to connect affiliates and clients using different tools
    • Drive a commercial team to identify and cultivate affiliate partnerships to expand our reach and market penetration
    • With focus on key hotspots secure FareHarbor’s unique position in the TAA ecosystem
  • Partnership Leadership:
    • Strengthen existing partnerships with key industry players positioning FareHarbor as the #1 rez-tech of choice in the TAA space.
    • Drive industry thought leadership and strong positioning
  • New Growth Areas:
    • Lead the scaling and growth of our commercial efforts of our (offline) affiliate proposition
    • Lead the team defining the go to market efforts and all commercial and operations processes
    • Develop and implement strategies to drive adoption and usage 
    • Drive a strong pipeline of partnerships to increase supply sources
  • Team Leadership and Culture:
    • Build and lead a high-performing partnerships and affiliates team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and impact
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, supporting their professional development.
    • Be hands on with the team and partners
  • Commercial Strategy and Execution:
    • Develop and execute commercial strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs)
    • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities and mitigate risks

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in driving partnerships and affiliate businesses, with significant experience in a commercial leadership role
  • Extensive experience in the travel industry, with a strong understanding of the travel technology, hotel, and OTA landscape.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams and in building a high performing culture, focused on impact
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience, with 5+ years of leadership experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Experience scaling software businesses
  • Startup mentality and experience.
  • Preferred: Established network within the travel industry, including travel technology providers, hotel groups, and OTAs

Salary Range: $109,840-$164,760, plus 20% bonus potential
