Director Sales Executive
What does a successful Director, Account Management – Digital Banking & Payments do?
As the Director, Account Management within the Digital Banking & Payments segment at Fiserv, you will lead a team of Account Executives focused on managing the development of client relationships, delivery of services, introducing digital thought leadership, and providing 360-degree feedback to the product teams and leadership. Your leadership will drive the pursuit of new sales, guiding your team to successfully close complex deals and achieve sales and retention targets. You will ensure that your team operates efficiently and effectively, contributing to the growth and profitability of Fiserv.
What you will do:
- Execute sales plans by assigning accounts, territories, and sales/renewal quotas to ensure targets are met.
- Plan and direct account activities within a defined territory, ensuring resource and staffing requirements are fulfilled.
- Manage and proactively drive the creation of sales pipeline and ensure accurate eCRM management.
- Define and execute sales strategies and tactics to increase add-on revenue to the existing client base.
- Supervise, develop, motivate, and mentor Account Executive staff, building strong consultative capabilities within the team.
- Actively manage Account Executive staff in all phases of the sales and account management lifecycle, ensuring success in identifying leads, developing value propositions, hosting client quarterly business reviews, meeting with clients, structuring deals, negotiating contracts, and closing new and renewal sales.
- Provide guidance and eliminate obstacles in high-priority opportunities to ensure pursuit teams are successful in closing contracts.
- Monitor metrics to manage the business, including financial forecasts, win/loss reviews, and pipeline analysis.
What you will need to have:
- 10+ years of sales experience with complex products or services.
- 5+ years of experience in sales management managing hunters.
- 5+ years of experience in selling complex solutions into large financial institutions.
- 5+ years of experience selling multi-year or multi-service contracts.
- 5+ years of experience in cross-selling multiple solutions across businesses.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent military experience.
What would be great to have:
- Demonstrated ability to exceed sales targets.
- Success in leading sales organizations of at least 6 associates.
- Proven track record of regularly achieving sales quotas on a quarterly and annual basis.
- Master’s degree preferred.
Salary Range
$99,200.00 - $211,100.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
