The Role:

As we enter the next stage of growth, we are looking for a Director of Revenue Operations to build and scale Baxter Planning’s RevOps function. This role is responsible for defining and driving the strategies that improve revenue predictability, sales productivity, and pipeline quality. By translating business objectives into scalable revenue processes, this role will work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Marketing to drive measurable impact. This individual will also be responsible for preparing board-ready materials for executive leadership in a Private Equity-backed environment, requiring a high degree of professionalism, precision, and business acumen.
Success in this role will be measured by improvements in pipeline quality, forecast accuracy, sales cycle efficiency, and overall quota attainment.

Purpose, Scope and Responsibilities:
Revenue Operations Strategy & Performance
  • Define and evolve the end-to-end revenue operating model (pipeline stages, forecasting methodology, deal inspection cadence)
  • Establish clear KPI frameworks tied to growth (pipeline coverage, conversion rates, sales cycle, win rates)
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to diagnose performance gaps and implement targeted improvements
  • Drive pipeline quality and inspection rigor, ensuring consistent deal qualification and progression
Revenue Operations Infrastructure
  • Support the development and documentation of RevOps processes from the ground up, including forecasting methodologies, reporting cadence, and governance standards.
  • Help to continuously improve end-to-end revenue processes, ensures discipline in funnel management and consistency in pipeline definitions.
  • Apply technology to help automate and drive efficiency in process execution and reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing, Customer Success, and IT to ensure alignment across the revenue lifecycle.
  • Recommend system enhancements and automation to improve scalability and efficiency.
Sales Performance Optimization
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Make data-driven recommendations on best practices for pipeline management, forecasting, territory alignment, and sales process optimization.
  • Support quota setting, performance tracking, and incentive plan analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the revenue function.
Board & Executive Reporting
  • Prepare executive-level and board-ready presentations in PowerPoint for a Private Equity-backed organization.
  • Translate operational and sales metrics into clear, compelling narratives for senior leadership and board members.
  • Ensure reporting reflects accuracy, consistency, and alignment with financial reporting standards.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.
Job Requirements:
Required
  • 5+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Sales Operation or a related analytical role.
  • Experience building or scaling a Revenue Operations function from the ground up in a scaling SaaS environment.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and data architecture.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights clearly.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and executive presentation development.
  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Professional presence and ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and board-level stakeholders.
Preferred
  • Experience working in a Private Equity-backed company.
  • Experience supporting board reporting processes.
  • Familiarity with revenue tech stack integrations and automation tools.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS or enterprise software environments.
