Description

Ransomware moves fast—we move faster. Zero Networks stops internal threat spread by locking down lateral movement, hardening privileged access, and simplifying segmentation. Our unified platform combines automated, agentless microsegmentation, identity-based segmentation, and secure remote access—giving organizations the control they need to prevent and contain attacks. We’re a fast-growing company backed by top-tier investors, with a loyal customer base and a rapidly expanding partner ecosystem. We move fast, work hard, and have a lot of fun doing it.

We’re looking for a Director of Product Marketing to build and lead the product marketing function at Zero Networks. You’ll report to the VP of Marketing and lead the function—owning positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy in close partnership with Sales, Product, and the executive team.

As the company scales, you'll have the opportunity to grow the function and team. You’ll work closely with Product Management to deeply understand the roadmap, validate messaging, and bring new capabilities to market. You'll also collaborate with our Director of Brand & Content Marketing to translate product narratives into compelling, consistent stories across all formats and channels to drive market awareness and demand. Additionally, you’ll partner with the Director of Sales Enablement to ensure that product positioning and value propositions are fully integrated into training, onboarding, and sales tools—while maintaining clear ownership of messaging, personas, and market insights.

This is a strategic, cross-functional role that sits at the center of Product, Sales, and Marketing—ensuring alignment from vision to execution.

Responsibilities

  • Own positioning and messaging for Zero Networks' platform and solutions—clarify what we do, who it’s for, why it matters, and how it’s different.
  • Partner with the Director of Sales Enablement to ensure effective delivery of product messaging and value propositions across the Sales team and to develop and maintain foundational sales content—messaging frameworks, pitch decks, battlecards, product one-pagers, etc.
  • Lead competitive intelligence and market research to inform product direction and differentiate Zero Networks in a crowded space.
  • Drive product launches end-to-end, partnering with Product, Sales, Demand Gen, and PR/Comms to ensure both internal readiness and external impact.
  • Build and maintain buyer personas and customer journey maps that inform content, campaigns, and product development
  • Keep a close pulse on analyst relations efforts, ensuring technical product accuracy and consistency across inputs; support PR, comms, and company thought leaders with timely product information, messaging, and roadmap context as needed.
  • Collaborate with Product, Content and Customer Success to shape customer stories, use cases, and proof points that demonstrate value.
  • Partner with the Content Marketing team to bring product narratives to life across channels, ensuring consistency and relevance.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on our market, buyers, and solutions—internally and externally.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in B2B cybersecurity.
  • Strong grasp of modern go-to-market strategy—how to position, launch, and support technical products.
  • Excellent storytelling and communication skills—able to translate technical details into clear business value.
  • Experience working cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise buyer personas—from practitioners to CISOs—and the ability to build narratives that resonate.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous environments; startup or early-stage experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and globally, we’re a remote team with customers and colleagues around the world
  • Experience managing other marketers is a plus but not required at the start.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience marketing network security, segmentation, or access control products
  • Familiarity with PLG (product-led growth) or sales-assisted growth motions
  • Passion for cybersecurity and the mission to stop ransomware

Why Join Us

  • Build and shape the product marketing function at a fast-growing cybersecurity company
  • Work on a category-defining platform with a clear, differentiated value proposition
  • Collaborate with a smart, motivated, low-ego team that values autonomy, creativity, and outcomes
  • Fully remote and flexible work culture

Ready to help the world’s biggest organizations lock down lateral movement and secure access at scale? Let’s talk.
