This Director of Product  role will be responsible for leading a growing and senior team of PMs responsible for our Billing tools and product suite (Invoices, Subscriptions, Integrations, Billing and Revenue Management). This is a greenfield opportunity to build a market-leading experience by embedding commerce natively into HubSpot’s CRM. In this role, the Director will be responsible for creating and executing on the vision of how HubSpot builds the channels that support B2B merchants, however they choose to go-to-market.

We are looking for people who have:

Successfully built B2B billing products for one-time and recurring use casesExperience in setting up various pricing models and billing runs/schedulesBuilt ramps, tiers and product bundles into a holistic billing offeringDeep understanding of how B2B businesses transactDemonstrate a platform mindset in how they build productsAbility to create a vision and strategy for the entire billing group for the next 2-3 yearsAdept at cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder alignmentA proven track record of building and leading diverse and inclusive product management teams as a people manager (hiring, performance management, coaching of Product Managers)

  • A deep focus on understanding our customers and making their experience personalized and better
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the willingness to defend their ideas to key stakeholders
  • Experience with complex growth initiatives and product rollouts
  • Healthy technical and interpersonal problem-solving skills
  • Proven leadership skills, and the ability to make decisions, test assumptions, and iterate - often without perfect information
  • Desire and demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment

Cash compensation range: 240000-384000 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
