In this exciting role, you will be is responsible for shaping and driving training curricula and programs that are essential for technical understanding of NXP’s products and solutions. You will breathe life into the roadmap for enhancing training for key audiences including sales and customers.

Initially, you will work closely with sales teams to ensure sales training increases NXP sales readiness and aggressive targets through digital channels and NXP.com. Your expanded scope will then be working across NXP’s globally distributed business lines to align and ensure comprehensive training for our customers in the digital space on our solutions, products and technologies. Your leadership in building learning and development strategies will enable sales and customers to effectively utilize our technologies, ensuring they possess the necessary skills for success.
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review existing training programs, identifying gaps and enhancements to improve engagement, learning, and retention and/or to meet the changing needs of clientele, the organization, or the industry.
  • Ensure that training materials and programs produced in NXP’s business lines are current, professional, accurate, and effective.
  •  Maintain knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to working engineers in the semiconductor industry.
  • Identify problems and opportunities such as technology changes or industry developments that training could improve.
  • Coordinate central delivery of online training. Provide coaching and support to subject matter experts developing training part-time to reinforce training concepts and enhance individual performance.
  • Collaborate with system and product owners to align online training programs and the digital infrastructure in which it is presented.
  • Refine and measure appropriate and aggressive training KPIs across training programs.
  • Monitor content performance using analytics tools to identify key metrics like website traffic, lead generation, social engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven adjustments to the content strategy.
  • Regularly report on content performance and insights to key stakeholders.
     

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams including marketing, sales, and product development
  • Experience working with teams across diverse geographies with mixed skill-sets and levels of experience.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Awareness of industry trends and emerging technologies
  • Excellent writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt to different content formats
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) and analytics platforms
     

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 5-10 years of experience in technical training, ideally with a background in technology industries
  • Previous experience managing stakeholder negotiation and communication at all levels of company, including executive stakeholders
  • Experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or other related roles
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training software
  • Strong understanding of business processes, methodologies, and tools

Knowledge of semiconductor technologies, a plus
